1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Makker mobile application ("App") and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms" or "EULA"). If you do not agree to these Terms, including the mandatory arbitration provision and class action waiver, do not use the App.

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and RettSync.

2. Standard Apple EULA

In addition to our custom terms, your use of the Makker App on iOS devices is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). You can review it here: Apple Standard EULA.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Makker offers auto-renewable subscriptions ("Premium Access") that unlock unlimited features, including but not limited to advanced scenarios, unlimited speaking practice, and detailed AI feedback.

Subscription Terms

Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Account Charged: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
Management: Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
No Refunds: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. We do not process refunds directly; all refund requests must be directed to Apple Support.

4. AI Content Disclaimer (CRITICAL)

Makker utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to generate learning content, roasts, and conversational personas. You acknowledge that AI-generated content can be inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate.

RettSync does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated output. You use such content at your own risk. RettSync shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from such content.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

Harass, abuse, or harm another person or group.
Generate or share content investigating illegal acts.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

We reserve the right to terminate your access immediately if you violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (excluding content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of RettSync and its licensors.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RettSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
